Segue # 4

Segue [# 4] is the twelfth track on the New Power Generation's first 'solo' album Gold Nigga (eleventh track on later pressings of the CD). With a musical backdrop played by the band, there are two parallel phone conversations taking place; one in which Tony M. is talking to Kirk Johnson, who suggests recording some live tracks. In the other conversation, a woman is talking to a friend about going to a concert that night by the New Power Generation; the two conversations end by setting the scene for Call The Law and the following track Johnny, which is made to sound like a live recording.
