Nothing Compares 2 Him is a collection of seventeen videos of songs from seven albums released originally between 1982 and 1989. It was available in Summer 1990 on VHS in the UK only to be played in stores to promote the Nude Tour in the UK where Prince played no less than 21 shows (including setting a record-breaking of 16 performances at Wembley Arena in London that year).
Of note, the When Doves Cry video is lifted from the Purple rain movie.
A promotional cassette, also titled Nothing Compares 2 Him, was also available for in-store play.
This instore video collection was not released commercially and was not eligible to enter the charts.
