The Undertaker is a video of a studio jam of the so called 'power trio' of Prince (as SymbolSmallerBlue.png) (vocals and guitar), Michael B. (drums) and Sonny T. (bass).

Footage for the video was filmed on 14 June 1993 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA. The original recording was also planned as a tentative album release, that was scrapped. A vague storyline (with Vanessa Marcil snooping around in Paisley Park Studios) was incorporated, resulting in the home video.

It was released on VHS in the UK and the rest of Europe and Laser Video format in Japan on the same day as The Sacrifice Of Victor home video.

The home video release was credited to Prince (instead of SymbolSmallerBlue.png) which in 1995 Prince went by and the album was going to be credited to.
