from the album Sign O' The Times |performer = Prince |first released = 30 March, 1987 - Sign O' The Times album |album(s) = Sign O' The Times |writer(s) = Prince |producer(s) = Prince |previous song = Housebangers |next song = How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore |introduction = Housequake is the third track on the first disc of Prince's ninth album Sign O' The Times. Housequake was also included as the b-side for the album's third single, U Got The Look. A live version was also included in the concert movie Sign O' The Times.

Initial tracking took place on 18 October, 1986 (the day after the public announcement of the Revolution's disbanding), at Sunset Sound, Hollywood, CA, USA. Overdubs, including the party-style vocals, were added on 26 October, 1986 (the day before Feel U Up), also at Sunset Sound.

The track was initially placed as the second track on the album Camille (to be credited to Camille), and was planned as the b-side of the single Shockadelica (also to be credited to Camille), but the single and the album were both aborted. It was then included as the third track on the first disc on the triple-album Crystal Ball, which was eventually pared down to become Sign O' The Times.

Housequake (7 Minutes MoQuake) contains a sample from Crazay (written and performed by Jesse Johnson, featuring Sly Stone, from the 1986 album Shockadelica, after which Prince's Shockadelica was named). |recording info = |- align="left" |style="border-top:1px dotted #ccc;"|18 October, 1986 |style="border-top:1px dotted #ccc;"|Sunset Sound, Hollywood, CA, USA |style="border-top:1px dotted #ccc;"|Initial tracking |- align="left" |style="border-top:1px dotted #ccc;"|26 October, 1986 |style="border-top:1px dotted #ccc;"|Sunset Sound, Hollywood, CA, USA |style="border-top:1px dotted #ccc;"|Overdubs |recording personnel =
