Joyful Sound is an unreleased track recorded in late 1990 at either Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota or Larrabee Sound Studios in North Hollywood, California. The track is made up of Tony M. delivering a spoken word segment over a drum instrumental by Michael B. that was previously used as an intro of Willing And Able. The musical backdrop of the track also contains some menacing sound effects. The track was included as the fourth track on a Spring 1991 configuration of Diamonds And Pearls, but was removed as the album went through further changes.
