Katrina's Paper Dolls is an unreleased track recorded in late October or early November 1983 at Prince's Kiowa Trail Home Studio, Chanhassen, MN, USA (around the time of Wednesday and Father's Song). It is not known if the track was intended for Purple Rain or any other project. Although many tracks from the era were released under the credit "Prince and the Revolution", it is likely that the recording is a solo performance by Prince, and it is listed here as such.

The Katrina name in the title might be in reference to Vanity who's full name was Denise Katrina Matthews.

During Prince: A Celebration in June 2000, computer screens at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA, offered names of a selection of tracks which users could vote on for inclusion on Crystal Ball Volume II, and while Katrina's Paper Dolls was chosen by fans, the project was ultimately abandoned. The track remains unreleased.
