Love 2 U, a.k.a “Damn”, with both titles somewhat tentative as it is unclear if it was named as such by Eric Leeds, like the other tracks from this session, is an unreleased track (mostly instrumental with some chants) recorded on 30 December 1985 in a ‘Jams’ session that also yielded U Gotta Shake Something, Voodoo Who and Most Strongest Whiskey, at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California. In it Prince jokingly refers to 'Jimmy White and The Blacks' seemingly referring to an alter ego name for the band James Chance and the Contortions. The song is fairly similar to the U Gotta Shake Something jam recorded on the same day. Unlike some other songs of The Flesh session, it was not included on the 22 January 1986 configuration of The Flesh EP, which was ultimately abandoned. The track has the sound of an audience dubbed onto it throughout the track, to make it sound as if it were a live recording.
