Misty Blue, a cover version of the Eddy Arnold song from his 1966 album The Last Word In Lonesome (although performed in the style of a version by Dorothy Moore, on her 1976 album Misty Blue, also released as a single in 1976), is the twelfth track on Prince's fourth live album Indigo Nights, with lead vocals by Shelby J.
No studio version recorded by Prince is believed to exist, but the song has been commonly performed live since 2008, usually with lead vocals by Shelby J.. The album recording (as with several other songs from the album) comes from the 22 September 2007 (a.m.) aftershow following the final night of 21 Nights In London : The Earth Tour, and was recorded at The IndigO2 in London, England.
A live version of the song (from the show given on 28 April 2011 at The Forum, Inglewood, California, USA) was included on the Blu-ray of the deluxe edition of the posthumous Welcome 2 America album released in 2021.
