Reconsider (U Betta) is the eleventh track (tenth song) on Chaka Khan's tenth solo studio album Come 2 My House. It was also included on the Come 2 My House promo sampler available at around the same time as the album's release. The song was written and produced by Chaka Khan (lyrics) and Prince (as  ) (music).
While specific recording dates are not known, initial tracking took place between November, 1997, and January, 1998, at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA. Horn overdubs took place between early December, 1997, and early February, 1998, also at Paisley Park Studios. It was included as the twelfth and final track on a February, 1998 configuration of Come 2 My House, before the tracklist was revised for the final release.
The song is in fact a remake of Feel Good from 1995, re-using some of the original tracks. Prince's voice saying 'don’t you wanna...' can be heard at in both songs at 0:43.
