Jaguar was the second single to be released from Mavis Staples' first Paisley Park Records album Time Waits For No One. It was released a few months after the album, and was released in the USA only.
The b-side, Land Of Ecstasy, was previously unreleased, but contains no input by Prince (although he is listed as executive producer). The single contained several remixes of Jaguar, which featured Prince as a writer, producer and performer.
The single did not enter the charts.
