Touch Of Love is a limited 100-copies EP by Ingrid Chavez sold during a promotional tour in Europe in June 2018 (during the PRN Alumni event at the Cafe De Paris, London, England and a meeting with french fans from the Schkopi board at Renoma Café, Paris France). The remaining copies were sold on her official website.
Despite its length (55 minutes), Touch Of Love is considered as an EP as it contains only two tracks: a continuous 52-minute mix of 12 songs and an audio commentary.
The continuous mix contains previously unreleased tracks from Chavez’s time with Prince and songs from her own, more recent, catalog and a remake of Justify My Love that she co-wrote with Lenny Kravitz in early 1990: Touch Of Love / You Gave Me Wings / Heaven Must Be Near / A Flutter and Some Words / Remembering Julia / Light Rays / Mine / My Sky / Justify My Love (2018) / Elephant Box (Original Intro 1988) / Elephant Box / Back Roads / Standing In The Rain.
The previously unreleased Touch Of Love, Standing In The Rain and the intro of Elephant Box were recorded in late 1987 by Ingrid Chavez and Prince. These tracks feature Prince as writer, producer and musician. The version of Heaven Must Be Near is the album version (segueing from and into other songs).
The EP was not eligible for charts.
