Strike Up The Band is an unreleased song recorded by Prince offered to Kip Blackshire and DVS, possibly for the Fonky Bald Heads album The Self Titled Album they were working on.

While specific recording dates are not known, basic tracking likely took place in 2000 or early 2001 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Kip Blackshire and DVS didn’t like the track however and rejected it. Prince’s version of Strike Up The Band remains unreleased.
