The Look Of Love is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, and originally performed by Dusty Springfield, which first appeared on the 1967 soundtrack album for the James Bond satire movie Casino Royale.
As performed by Prince and the New Power Generation, however, it is more closely related to Dusty Springfield's own re-recording, which appeared on her single Give Me Time, also in 1967 (in the USA, The Look Of Love was the a-side, and Give Me Time the b-side.
The song has been performed often in Prince's live shows beginning in 2011, with lead vocals by Andy Allo. A live video version of the song was streamed beginning on 27 December 2011, on bandmember Andy Allo's Facebook page.
No studio version by Prince is believed to exist.
