The track was recorded on 2 July 2013 (a.m.) at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The version of the track made available is a live in-studio recording; it is not known if any other versions of the track were recorded, or if the track was intended to be part of an album or any particular project. When Menstrual Cycle and Octopus Heart were later made available for download, the artist credit 3rdEyeGirl was used, so it is used here also, although no formal artist credit was given for the track during streaming.
The track's title is an amalgamation of the titles of Menstrual Cycle, Octopus Heart, and Moon Drop, the other three tracks recorded during the same session.
