Tibet is an unreleased instrumental recorded on 19 or 20 April 1985, after midnight at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California (three days after Wendy’s Parade, New Position, I Wonder U and Under The Cherry Moon, on the same day as Old Friends 4 Sale and Others Here With Us, and the day before Life Can Be So Nice and Sometimes It Snows In April).

It was not included on any configuration of Prince’s next album Parade, and was recorded as a sonic experiment using sounds from the Fairlight CMI sampler synthesizer Prince was starting to use (the track title results from the sample being used called 'Tibet').

Although recorded during a set of Prince and the Revolution sessions, it is listed here as a solo Prince track as no formal artist credit has been given to the track and it appears he recorded this track alone.
