The tour book comprises 24 pages, mostly of photographs of Prince and the tour band, together with credits and a story by Prince. A pink insert of (information needed) page provides translation of the tourbook content in japanese.
Like the Lovesexy album, the front cover of the tour book has no printed title but bears a sticker in the bottom right-hand corner with the title. It reads Prince Lovesexy '89 using the same layout, font and colours of blue and pink as the album. The rectangular sticker is transparent. The inside title pages (2 and 3) also adopt the same style including the floral background to the album front cover photo by Jean Baptiste Modino, and this theme is continued intermittently throughout. Credits for tour book photography and design are included on page 2. On page 4, the story of Camille begins and this runs through to page 13, interspersed with photographs of Prince, sometimes with band members. The story makes references on pages 9 and 11 to the album, “The Black Album”, whose release had been canceled in 1987. A background of black with peach font is temporarily adopted, reflecting the album’s artwork. Handwritten, signed messages accompany photographs of the band members in the next section, followed on pages 20 and 21 by a montage of band member images. Both of these pages fold out to reveal a four page, four picture spread of Prince. With another Prince photograph on page 22, the inside cover provides extensive tour credits and the back cover displays a final picture of Prince from the same photo-shoot as the front cover. Tour book photographs occupy the whole of the page without borders, and many of the shots are clearly taken in a corridor or against the exterior walls of Paisley Park studios.
