7 is video featuring Prince and Mayte as well as twelve boys dressed and Prince and twelve girls dressed as Mayte. Footage of Prince in the glass cylinder and Mayte’s sword dancing was filmed at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, MN, USA while the footage with the children was filmed on a soundstage in Los Angeles, possibly in May 1992.
