Acknowledge Me is a Prince (as  ) video that was aired as part of the The Beautiful Experience TV-special. Like the other videos from this program, it is interspersed with scenes with Nona Gaye, listening with anger the lyrics of the song directed to her.
The video is mainly a dance performance by Mayte with part of the Glam Slam Ulysses dance troupe. The screen is doubled for when Prince sings the track filmed in black in white and close-up. There is also a slight nod to the Kiss video.
The track is edited (with an abrupt ending). When the full studio version was included in Crystal Ball in 1998, Acknowledge Me was not used as promotional tool for the compilation.
