Diamonds And Pearls is a Prince and the New Power Generation video released for broadcast and to promote the single.

Like Cream, which was also directed by Rebecca Blake, the video begins with Prince plagued by reporters, this time running from them. For the performance of the song, Prince is alternatively set behind a piano (singing with Rosie Gaines), dancing and playing guitar with the band. Diamond and Pearl also appear in the video. After the bridge, he enters a projection room and is surrounded by children.

Seven ballet dancers were recruited for the video. Prince flew Mayte in to participate in the video, but Rebecca Blake voted against the idea. After Kiss and Cream, Diamonds And Pearls was the last video directed by Rebecca Blake.

The video was included on the Diamonds And Pearls Video Collection and The Hits Collection.
