Mary Don't You Weep is a video released posthumously to promote the album Piano & A Microphone 1983. Initially a version of the video was released that was a still of the album cover image. A bit later an extended trailer for the Spike Lee film BlacKkKlansman (which features the Piano & A Microphone 1983 version of Mary Don't You Weep) replaced it. But in August 2018 a new video was shot in New York purposefully for the song with all new material.
