Purple Medley is a Prince (as  ) video released for broadcast to promote the single and the The Ultimate Live Experience tour in Europe. The medley and its video were created to fulfill a request from the promoters of The Ultimate Live Experience tour who wanted Prince/ to play his old hits. The video was screened prior to the concerts.
The video mixes clips from earlier videos with new footage of Prince/ and what look like archive footage of a rehearsal with dancers (including Carmen Electra) for the Glam Slam Ulysses stage-show. A version was included in the Love 4 One Another TV-special (cut short after less than 8 minutes) but the full, although rarely aired, version also exists.
