Purple Rain is a Prince and the Revolution video released for broadcast and to promote the single. This video was not so much made or choreographed as a video, but uses the footage shot for the performance scene of the song in Purple Rain.

Oddly, the Purple Rain video is the only one from that era that was not uploaded by The Prince Estate on Prince YouTube channel in 2017.
