Race is a Prince /  video that was aired as part of the The Beautiful Experience TV-special. Like the other videos from this program, it is interspersed with scenes featuring Nona Gaye as Jan.
Besides its colorful and joyful aspects (the whole band dancing and playing Monopoly, Prince smoking a flower), the video is also notable for its version of Race which is longer than the one included on Come, complete with a slightly different intro and an entirely alternate guitar part.
The video was not used as a promotional tool for Come when the song was included on the album released four months after the initial broadcast of The Beautiful Experience.
