The Question Of U is a Prince video released for broadcast. The planned release of The Question Of U as a single was canceled for unknown reasons.
The live footage was shot during the 31 August 1990 concert at the Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan. There have been no audio-only releases of this performance. With no corresponding single, no footage from the Graffiti Bridge movie and no current tour (the Tokyo Show was one the last of the Nude Tour), it is not known why this specific song was lifted and edited from the Live In Tokyo television concert from 1990.
Prince assembled a video of "The Question Of U" using footage from the song’s performance in the Graffiti Bridge film. Eventually the performance was cut from the film and this video, like the single, was scrapped.
