The Walk is the second video by The Time released for broadcast and to promote the single. Exact shooting date and location are unknown, but it was likely shot in Fall 1982.
The video is a performance of the song by The Time similar to the ones they did on american TV-shows. The backdrop is the one used for their set on the Triple Threat Tour and it is safe to assume that this video was shot during rehearsals for that tour (much like Prince’s videos from that era).
For unknown reasons, The Walk is the only single from the What Time Is It? album for which a music video was shot.
On 2 October 2021, The Walk was uploaded on Rhino’s official Youtube channel.
