Walk In Sand is the seventh track from Prince’s 35th album 20Ten. Soon after its release, the Portuguese beer company Super Bock streamed a video of the song to promote their product in conjunction with Prince’s appearance at the Palco Super Bock music festival. The video was removed, however, following a copyright claim by NPG Records, and it appears it was not sanctioned, so the video is not listed below or in the music videos section.
A tape photographed in Prince’s vault at Paisley Park Studios lists it as 1 August 2009 alluding the exact date for the recording at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Engineer James "Fluff" Harley has stated that Sea Of Everything was overdubbed by Prince during sessions that yielded material for the 20Ten album, between September 2009 and February 2010.
Unlike the rest of the album, the song features live drums, played by Prince himself, rather than programmed drums.
