Wildest Moments is the second song of Jessie Ware’s first studio album Devotion and its third single. A snippet of a remix by Prince and Joshua Welton (assumed) was streamed during 3rdEye TV Show # 9 in 2013. A longer and mostly instrumental version was streamed shortly afterwhile.

The track was written by Jessie Ware and Kid Harpoon. Prince did not contribute to the album version of Wildest Moments. The single was released in june 2012 but did not include Prince’s remixes which may have been done the following year at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA, with Joshua Welton. In an episode of her "Table Manners" podcast in December 2017, Jessie Ware revealed that Prince had actually contacted her and asked for her opinion on the remix while she was on tour. She was not convinced by the result but gave her permission for the broadcast anyway. According to her, Prince also asked her permission to include this remix on the project called Joshuaworld, about which nothing is known (presumably a collective work with Joshua Welton as its title suggests).

The Wildest Moments remixes were not given titles as such and were not officially released to own but were streamed during two 3rdEye TV shows in july 2013. A fuller version of the remix with Jessie Ware’s vocals was played over the PA before some Hit And Run Part II shows.

  • Just a few months before the airing of this remix, Jessie Ware released a cover of Love... Thy Will Be Done. Prince was not involved in this version. Wildest Moments seems to be the only song related to Ware that Prince has worked on.
  • Prince asked Ware to be the opening act on a few dates on the Hit And Run Part II in 2014, but she was unable to honor this invitation due to other personal commitments.
