Another Boy was the first single from Bria Valente’s first and only album Elixer. It was released six months prior to the album as a digital download in the USA only (on the same day that Prince’s 21 Nights book and accompanying album Indigo Nights were released).
The artwork mentions that the song is from her upcoming album Elixir (the correct spelling of the title Elixer, which was finally used).
A full artwork for the single, instrumental version of Another Boy as the second track, was also created (front and back) which indicates that a physical release of the single was considered and then abandoned. Interestingly, the mock-up mentions that the song is produced by New World Productions.
There were no additional tracks, and the single was not promoted in any way, with no indication of its release prior to its appearance on iTunes.
The single did not enter the charts.
