Superconductor is the first song on Andy Allo’s second album Superconductor (her first on NPG Records). A 15-second clip of the song (without lyrics, other than the title spoken once) was used in a video on Andy Allo’s Facebook page eight months before the album’s release. The song is written by Prince, and he appears on unidentified instrumentation on the track.
While specific recording dates are not known, it is assumed to have been recorded in Summer 2011 - early 2012 at either Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota, Record Plant, Los Angeles, California or Powerplay Studios, Maur, Switzerland.
