Blanche is a song recorded by Prince on 15 July 1986 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California (at the end of the one-day session that produced Sign O’ The Times). While sessions in July concentrated on material for the aborted Dream Factory, the track is not known to have been placed on any configuration of that album, or any other project.

The lyrics mention “a girl named Blanche and a dude named Stanley”, incidentally both characters from A Streetcar Named Desire, just like Stella in Stella And Charles, a song Prince created in May 1985.

The song was released in September 2020 as the fifth track of Vault Tracks part 2, one of the discs with previously unreleased tracks included with the Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition.
