It’s Alright is a 1975 song written by Larry Graham and released on the 1975 Graham Central Station album Ain’t No 'Bout-A-Doubt It Prince started to perform the song live in 1994 along with The Jam from the same album. A live version (in a medley with Partyman) was streamed in the NPG Music Club’s Glam Slam VIP room in March 2006. Six years earlier, however, a live version (sung by Larry Graham) was included as the eleventh track on the Rave Un2 The Year 2000 VHS and DVD (No audio-only version of this performance has been released).

A version of the track recorded during a rehearsal was streamed on 3rdEye TV Show # 5 in 2013, in a medley with Dancing Machine and Partyman (a snippet of (Theme Song From) Which Way Is Up?, which often precedes Dancing Machine when played live, can also be heard as the rehearsal begins). A live version of the medley from 30 June 2013 (a.m.) at City Winery Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, USA was also streamed on a 3rdEye TV Show in 2013.

A live version of the song (from the show given on 28 April 2011 at The Forum, Inglewood, California, USA) was included on the Blu-ray of the deluxe edition of the posthumous Welcome 2 America album released in 2021.

No studio version by Prince of It’s Alright is believed to exist.

Prince has also covered other songs by Graham Central Station, including The Jam and Water from the same album.
