This track marks the first appearance by [[Maceo Parker]] on a song penned by [[Prince]], years before he would record consistently with him, beginning in 1999, as well as joining his live band on a full-time basis. The track also marks [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Wesley Fred Wesley]’s only known appearance on a [[Prince]]-written song, although [[Prince]] has covered some tracks co-written by [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Wesley Wesley] in live shows.
