|introduction              = '''You Remind Me Of Me''' is an unreleased instrumental track by [[Grand Central]], a band consisting of [[Prince]], [[André Cymone|André Anderson]], [[Charles Smith|Charles 'Chazz' Smith]], Linda Anderson and William Doughty. The song, composed by [[André Cymone|André Anderson]], was initially put to reel-to-reel tape in late 1974 at the [[Cookhouse Studios]], Minneapolis, Minnesota with [[Pepé Willie]] overseeing. 

The recording-session was a result of winning a North Commons Park battle-of-the-band contest, where the prize was $75 and 8 hours recording time at the [[Cookhouse Studios]]. Other songs recorded in the session were [[Whenever]], [[It’s Too Late]] and Love Unlimited’s instrumental [[Love’s Theme]]. These four songs are the first to be recorded by [[Prince]] in a studio. He would later return to the [[Cookhouse Studios]] to record songs for [[Pepé Willie]]’s [[94 East]] project the following year. 

[[Pepé Willie]] later discussed working with the group to improve their performance of the song. "The problem was that they weren’t singing together. So I made them put down their instruments and being that [[Prince]] was the most talented at that time as far as playing the guitar, I would have him play guitar chords and get... them all sing together. Because they would all be singing something different, like [[André Cymone|André]] would sing 'you remind me of me,' [[Morris Day|Morris]] would be going 'you remind me of she,' and William or Linda would be going 'you remind me of them.'"

It is not known if '''You Remind Me Of Me''' was later considered for inclusion on any project. Other sessions with [[Grand Central]] (now [[Grand Central|Grand Central Corporation]] with [[Morris Day]] on drums replacing [[Charles Smith|Charles 'Chazz' Smith]]) and [[André Cymone|André Anderson]] took place in early 1976 at [[ASI Studio]], Minneapolis, Minnesota.
