Don’t Talk 2 Strangers was the first and only commercial single from Chaka Khan’s first and only NPG Records album Come 2 My House. The single was released in the UK only in late 1998, prior to the album’s release in the UK (following her performance of Don’t Talk 2 Strangers on the Beautiful Strange TV special).

It includes edited clips taken from various tracks on the album: This Crazy Life Of Mine (1:10), Pop My Clutch (0:39), Don’t Talk 2 Strangers (1:11), Democrazy (1:28) and Remember U (0:55), bookended with the sound effects of doors opening and closing (see specific tracks for recording information and recording personnel).
