Witness 4 The Prosecution is a single included in the Sign O’ The Times - The Singles‎ collection, which also includes the four commercial singles and two promotional singles from the Sign O’ The Times album. This single was not released separately from the full set.

The a-side, Witness 4 The Prosecution (Version 1) was released for download and streaming in June 2020 at the time of the announcement of Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition set, while the b-side, Witness 4 The Prosecution (Version 2), was released for download and streaming on 13 August 2020, the day before the official release date of the Sign O’ The Times - The Singles‎ collection.
