On 11 January, 2016, the track Ruff Enuff by Mono Neon, featuring Prince as producer and musician, was released as Tidal's Purple Pick of the Week and as a stand-alone download. A few hours later, it was replaced with a vocal version of the track, with vocoder vocals by Adrian Crutchfield.
On 12 December, 2015, Prince's 39th album Hitnrun Phase Two was released as a digital download through Tidal as lossless download and mp3, only as a set with Hitnrun Phase One and through iTunes and others in m4a/mp3 format as standalone download.
On 2 December, 2015, Tidal opened a download store offering mp3 and FLAC downloads, including various Prince tracks which had previously only been available to stream as Purple Picks of the Week.
On 9 November, 2015, Tidal's Purple Pick of the Week was a previously-unreleased 2014 studio re-recording of If Eye Could Get Ur Attention. Five days earlier, Prince's Soundcloud account posted a 21-second snippet of the track.
On 7 November, 2015, Tidal offered a 12-hour stream of Oui Can Luv, a previously-unreleased acoustic 9-track set, by Andy Allo featuring Prince on guitar, mostly compiled of cover versions.
