On 1 February, 2016, Tidal offered a 3:15 edit of Black Muse to stream and download, seemingly as its Purple Pick of the Week, although no banner is visible on the site's homepage at the time of writing.
On 11 January, 2016, the track Ruff Enuff by Mono Neon, featuring Prince as producer and musician, was released as Tidal's Purple Pick of the Week and as a stand-alone download. A few hours later, it was replaced with a vocal version of the track, with vocoder vocals by Adrian Crutchfield.
On 12 December, 2015, Prince's 39th album Hitnrun Phase Two was released as a digital download through Tidal as lossless download and mp3, only as a set with Hitnrun Phase One and through iTunes and others in m4a/mp3 format as standalone download.
On 2 December, 2015, Tidal opened a download store offering mp3 and FLAC downloads, including various Prince tracks which had previously only been available to stream as Purple Picks of the Week.
