Better is an unreleased remix version by Joshua Welton and Prince of Mary J. Blige’ song (written by Terius Nash and Christopher Stewart, from the 2014 Think Like A Man Too) soundtrack.
Prince was approached by Mary J. Blige and the team behind the soundtrack to do a remix of this song (for unknown purpose as it was not released as a single) and submitted the acapella steams to him. His idea was to let Joshua Welton work on it and to add his own flavor at the end.
Ultimately, Prince and Welton reworked the song together with entirely new music sometimes in 2014 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, Minnesota. This remix remains unreleased.
