Take Me For A Ride was the fourth and last single to be released from Taja Sevelle’ first album Taja Sevelle (after Love Is Contagious, Wouldn’t You Love To Love Me? and Popular). It was released nine months after the album. The a-side, Take Me For A Ride, did not involve Prince, but the b-side contained Wouldn’t You Love To Love Me?, which was also released as the second single from her album four months prior.
