Te Amo Corazón was the first single to be released from Prince's 31st album 3121 (although no album name or release information was known at the time of the single's release).
The single was available as a download (both audio and video) through the NPG Music Club on 13 December 2005 (in the US written as 12/13, which reads backwards as 3121), with a CD release following a week later on 20 December 2005, and a CD/DVD release following on 14 February 2006.
Unusually, the CD single contained only the one track, with no b-side (remix or otherwise).
The single reached number 67 on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, but failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100.
