Trivia

  • The aftershow was halted at 3:45 a.m. after complaints about loud music forced an end to the post-concert bash. After being ordered to stop the music, PRN Productions was issued a citation for disturbing the peace. Prince concluded by saying:
"Thanks for coming out. You're welcome any time." He then introduced each member of his band and added: "I'm Prince Poindexter the Third."
  • The audience was largely made up of Warner Bros. Records employees, music industry executives and radio disc jockeys from around the country. but amongst the attendees were also Prince's mom Mattie Baker, Miles Davis, Taylor Dayne women's pro wrestling champion Madusa Miceli, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Bobby Z., Brownmark, Jellybean Johnson, Jerome Benton, Taja Sevelle, Jill Jones, members of Three O'Clock, Alexander O'Neal, MTV reporter Kurt Loder and WCCO-TV anchor Don Shelby.
