Goodbye is an unreleased track recorded on 31 December 1991, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Although the formal artist credit isn’t known, songs from this recording period were released under the name Prince and the New Power Generation, so that credit is used for this entry.

Goodbye is an eclectic song going through multiple tempos and styles. It features Tony M. rapping and singing the chorus (with Prince): “All fair in love and war and only love is worth dying for.” The song is completely unrelated to the later recorded Goodbye, that was originally titled (Excuse Me Is This) Goodbye.
