To celebrate Mayte's nineteenth birthday (12 November 1992), Prince recorded a rendition of Happy Birthday To You. A cassette offered to Mayte containing this version was included posthumously in a 2021 auction from Julien's Auctions with the following description: "A magnetic tape recording on TDK SA-X60 brand cassette tape, featuring music legend Prince singing a unique 1-minute and 45-second studio rendition of "Happy Birthday to You," accompanied by an upbeat and intricate bass line, percussion track, and keyboards." Other versions may have been recorded in studio over the years, but this has not been verified.
