Lemon Cake is an unreleased jam recorded on 16 April 1985 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California, on the same day as Life Can Be So Nice and another Instrumental that remained untitled and unreleaed. The track is said to contains elements of New Position, which would be recorded the next day, and it is not entirely clear if this is a song in itself, or should be regarded an early version of New Position. It remains unreleased.
