  • 1988 – Release of Chaka Khan’s CK, which includes Prince’s Sticky Wicked and her cover version of Eternity, previously released by Sheena Easton
  • 1994 – Limited release of The Black Album (originally scheduled for release in December 1987)
  • 2016 – US release of Prince’s first posthumous compilation album 4Ever





  • 1985 - With the expanded Revolution line-up Prince shoots a video for Girls & Boys at the Studio de la Victorine in Nice, France.
  • 2015 – At the 43rd annual American Music Awards held at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, USA Prince presents the award for 'Favorite Soul/R&B Album' to The Weeknd for his album 'Beauty Behind the Madness'
