Redhead Stepchild is a song performed by Támar Davis and Prince on the nationally broadcast TV show Good Morning America on 16 June 2006. The song was co-written, produced and performed by Prince. While specific recording dates for the studio version are unknown, it was likely recorded at some point between early 2005 (when Prince first worked with Támar Davis) and early 2006, at either Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota, or 3121 Antelo Rd. in Los Angeles, California.
The song was included on Támar's planned first album, then titled Beautiful, Loved & Blessed; it was included as the eighth track when the album was later renamed Milk & Honey, but after the TV performance the album's release was abandoned, and the album remains unreleased.
In 2012, the previously-unreleased studio version of the track was included as streaming audio (with no download option) in the Támar Davis mobile app (released 12 September 2012).
