Prince has performed the song often in one-off shows, either in full or as a clip during another song. An excerpt of a live version (with George Clinton and mostly instrumental) was included as a bonus track on the Rave Un2 The Year 2000 VHS and DVD released in 2000 (No audio-only version of this performance has been released).
