Johnny B. Goode, a cover version of the track written and originally performed by Chuck Berry (released in a single in 1958 before being included on his album Chuck Berry Is On Top in 1959), has been performed live occasionally by Prince, beginning 11 November, 2006 (am), 3121 @ Rio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV, USA.
He has twice played the song on live broadcasts; firstly at the 1 February, 2007, Super Bowl XLI Press Conference broadcast to promote his appearance at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLI Halftime Show, and secondly on his 27 June, 2011, Le Grand Journal, Studios Rive Gauche, Paris, France appearance to promote the upcoming 30 June, 2011, Stade De France stadium show. It is unlikely that a studio version of the track exists.
