Dance To The Beat is an unreleased song by The Time played live a few times in early 1982, and believed to have been written by Prince. Prince guested with The Time on the song on 16 February 1982 at The Roxy Theatre, West Hollywood and on 8 March 1982 at First Avenue, Minneapolis. The track was most likely not recorded in the studio, as it was designed as a simple upbeat track to warm up the audience and get them dancing. It was not intended for their next album What Time Is It? or any other project. The song remains unreleased.
