Can'tneverdidnothin' is the sixth studio album (and her third as an adult) by Australian-American singer Nikka Costa. The album contains 12 songs, mostly written by Nikka Costa and her husband Justin Stanley. Can'tneverdidnothin' features musical contributions from Lenny Kravitz, Wendy Melvoin, Chance Howard and John Blackwell among others. Nikka Costa confirmed that Prince plays guitar uncredited on the song Around The World. Recording process Prince's guitar part for Around The World were likely recorded in February or March 2004 at Stellasound, Los Angeles, California or Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota at some other point in 2004. The song Silver Tongue, written by Prince and Nikka Costa was considered but was ultimately not included on the album. However, Prince’s version of Silver Tongue was released the previous year as a "virtual b-side" to Call My Name on the NPG Music Club (titled Silver Tongue (Demo)), and Nikka Costa released her own re-recorded version as the ninth track of her album Nikka & Strings, Underneath And In Between in 2017. Promotion Two singles were released to promote the album: I Don't Think We've Met and Till I Get to You. The album reached number 157 on the US Billboard 200.
